1. Max high rpm power when used with stock heads?
2. Max high rpm power when used with ported heads and headers
3. Best low rpm torque and throttle response off idle
4. Best overall torque and HP with stock-like idle
5. Best overall torque and HP regardless of idle quality
6. Biggest cam avail that will not require PCM tuning.
7. etc...etc...etc
There are literally hundreds, if not a thousand cam posts in the archives. Hit that little "Search" link up at the top of the page. You will find more info than you would ever want to read.

Re: what is the best cam Consider what your car will be when your finished modding. All the parts work as a team so selection is critical. Dont get a huge cam if your not going to spend the bucks for an LS6 manifold and Long Tube headers and a catback, or if you have to be emissions legal. Take your time and think about what you really want. Stick around here and keep reading the posts and you'll get a better idea of what your dealing with. I suggest that you visit the other forums and read as many posts as you can.
