Default Cammin my ls1

i'm gonna do headers, lid, and a cam all at once with my car.
from reading the forums i know that i want a whisper lid and the lpp headers seem like my best bet without spending a fortune.

That being said i've been here for three hours trying to learn exactly what i'm lookin for in a cam and i was wondering if ya'll could steer me in the right direction.
This car's a street car and my dd. i'd prefer a lobey badass sounding cam (like 112lsa) but if that's not my best cam choice i'm fine with a smooth one but i read that overlap is bad for low end torque.
My goals (i won't be doing heads)
-a cam that gives me a good torque band and not just high end power
-400 at the wheels if at all possible.
-very reliable
-and i want a real choppy idle (not a necessity)

i'm just lookin for a couple cams maybe as reccomendations or mistakes i shouldn't make when choosing this cam (yes i've read the stickies)

I wanted pretty much the same thing you want. After countless hours of research I finally decided on a Futral F14. I went with the high lift version. Look into the Futral cams.
