Default LS1 gurus please help

Im trying to set up a motor build for my car but its almost brain surgery to me of the internals of a motor with sizes and such. Ive done a little bit of research...basically im asking if someone could help me by telling me if these parts would work. Any and all help will be appreciated. BTW i have no clue about bearings and lifters so please help

-Stock LS1 block
-Stock crank
-Compstar Connecting Rods, Compstar, H-Beam, 6.125 in. Length, 0.927 in. Pin, Chevy LS Engines (http://www.sdparts.com/product/CSC61...LSEngines.aspx)
-Diamond LS1 Flat Top Pistons - 3.905 Bore, 3.622 Stroke, 6.125 Rod (http://www.sdparts.com/product/DIA11...ke6125Rod.aspx)
-Piston rings 1.5, 1.5, 3mm Low Tension File Fit Xtreme
-Texas speed stage 1 LS6 heads and torquer v2 package. Comes with standard 7.4 pushrods, heads and cam gaskets, and ported ls6 oil pump
Heads come with Prc dual spring kit with titanium retainers
Cam specs are 232 234 595 598 @ 111
-LS2 timing chain

Couple questions
Will standard 7.4 push rods work or would the need to be shorter or longer?
Can i use stock rocker arms or should i get aftermarket 1.7s?

Any and all help will be appreciated

Stock rocker arms will work. Although it never hurts to upgrade.

Pushrod length should be 7.400"
What lifters?? The preload will effect the length.
Best bet is always to measure.

LS7 lifters are OEM preload if I recall correctly.

7.400's should work fine. Always measure though.

There is nothing wrong with the LS7 lifters. Actually a solid lifter for the price.

If you are not going to spray more than a 150 i would keep the stock pistons and rods.

Spend that money on a fast 90/90 set up.I have sprayed a 150 shot on that same cam with afr 205's with cometic .040's with a stock bottem end for 20 k mile's

If you don't plan to spray or go FI then i see no reason to go forged

the ls1 short block is one bad motha stock.
