Default Rock and a Hard spot

I am stuck on the valve spring swap. I am using the dirrections off ls1howto.com(they are awsome), but the tool that they are using is not working right for me. school starts for me Monday and i want to know if i should just skip the valve swap and comeback to it when i find someone who has done it before( and not take the car into high RPMs) or if i should leave it broken down until i find someone.
p.s. if you have done a valve spring swap before and live in the rowlett area and would mind helping an 18 year old finsish the jobe or just get the valve springs replaced please p.m. me
sorry about the length

What cam are you using? How much lift do you have and what ratio rockers are you using? The big problem about stock springs is they hit coil bind really easily.
