Cam with stock drivetrain?

Although I can't afford it right now, i'd like to get a cam for my car to make some serious power. But i'm afraid of blowing my stock clutch (72K!) and stock 10 bolt w/ 4.10s. how many of you guys are running a decent cam with a stock drivetrain? I'm probably just gonna start doing more suspension mods because i dont think my stock drivetrain can take the extra power from the cam.

I'm make over 413 RWHP, my clutch was slipping a bit before heads and cam and on the dyno, now i have the Centerforce DFX, as long as you don't always drop the clutch...it should be fine, but your clutch i'm sure won't last.

On bolt ons my LS6 (which is better then your stock) clutch was slipping bad and that was at bearly 40k.

The stock clutch wont hold much power. My 99 went out 1 month after I put the TR224 in. Also depends on your driving habits.... "new cam syndrome" I thrashed it for all it was worth and my clutch didnt last long. 64k on it when it went out.
