best place to balance?
I am buying a set of Pistons, rods and a crankshaft, just curious where would be the best place to get them balanced?
The crank is gonna be a Callies Compstar (or dragonslayer) and I think they(callies) can balance the assembly, now if they have all the (accurate) weights for all the parts would they be the best to get the parts balanced or would they only perform a rough balance?
The alternative is a local mechanist but I am being quoted ~$400 dollars(its in the UK), where as if Callies do it it should cost much less (?).
I have to make the choice and I really could do with the advice! Hope you guys can help

The Compstar includes balancing.....
Rough balanced if you don't have your components at the time of purchase.
Finish balanced if you have your component weights.
Better yet, just get the Speed Pack... everything you need, ready to put together.
You can order direct, or give us a call, and we can hook you up with a dealer close to you. Many of which are also LS1Tech sponsors.
