Default New water pump?

Hey Guys,

I am in the process of order a new water pump for my car for cam install and was wondering if the new 2007 l92 water pump, part#12600767 work on my car.

I know in Corvette at least there is an issue of Cy #7 burning up due to the watter pump not flowing enough to the back of the block to cool that cylinder. So don't know if it's all LS1 but a better flowing pump might be a better investment than the 5HP.

Get the LS1 pump, from what I have read it is a better pump in design. Better yet, get the new Edelbrock pump, which flows more.

Found the information I had read: "The LS1 - LS6 style pump is far better than the LS2 pump. Bigger shaft, better seal and larger bearings than those on the LS2."
