Need help identifying sound
Need help identifying sound Well, I always thought this ticking sound at idle was from the headers but the more I think about it, it might be something I should pay more attention to.
I can not hear it when looking at the motor from the top, only when looking underneath. The sound is in rythem with rpms unstill it eventually is drowned out by the exhaust. Car drives fine, oil pressure is little under 40 at idle. Motor has 91k. Raced it saturday, went 1250s @ 107.
Could it be the headers vibrating on something? I wrapped header wrap around the Y pipe so I know its not that. Im open to any suggestions, lets hear them.
