Paging PRO STOCK -LS6 VS LS1 heads Anyone with flow test comparison between these two stock heads?
I'm contemplating swapping a 02 Z06 Cam in my LS1, I am told that I wouldn't get more than 15rwhp with my mods due to the LS1 heads. Would this be true?
My last Dyno (before 3:73) with 3:23 w/o N2O

Re: Paging PRO STOCK -LS6 VS LS1 heads I'm not sure what you're looking for information wise exactly, but a stock LS6 head flows similarly to a stage 1 ported LS1 head. LS6 heads usually have very high peak flow numbers with a stage II port (high flow at high lift) and can sometimes sacrifice a little flow at lower RPM's over a stage II LS1 head (not much though if ported properly.)
If you're running stock heads you could definately get a little more power out of a stock LS6 head, although if you're going to pull the heads off anyway you might as well go with a set of ported heads. SDPC has their CNC Lingenfelter ported LS6 heads for a decent price.

With your stock heads you won't be seeing the the same power as with a set of ported heads, but you might be able to get like 25+RWHP out of the stealth cam, although that's just a guess. Also by looking at your bio I'd get full longtube headers also...
