Default 224/228 114+2 cam numbers

Whos running this cam on a stock cubed LS1? Im gonna be running it with PRC 2.5 5.3L heads on my car with shorties and Im just curious about numbers. Thanks to all that can help!

you will hit 400 with no problems i would not even worry about that.

I'm making 395rwhp on mine at the moment on a Dyno Dynamics twin-retarder dyno - ETP215s, 224/228 @112+2lsa on LSK lobes. Other mods in Sig.

The AFRs are still a bit fat, so with a retune, I'd say 400-410rwhp is on the cards.

It drives as smooth as silk too!

Our lead tech Joseph installed the PRC 5.3l heads & 228/228R camshaft in 2 of his friends cars with really good results. Both cars made over 400rwhp with unlocked 3500 stall automatics!! One of the cars has run 11.7s in 5000+ft of air!!! Not bad for a car that drives near stock!!

Well I should have some dyno numbers tomorow for my combo. Where does the powerband for this cam begin? Anyone? Honestly Im just so damn jittery waiting to dyno the car that Im starting to worry!

Well numbers are in sig, Im pretty sure Id hit around 420 If I werent running shorty headers and stock cats. LT's and magnaflow cats are in my future for sure!
