Question What wrong with 4.060 bore?

No piston company other than Manley offer a piston 4.060 and they only have it with a 8cc dish. They have like 12 set at the coating plant and none to ship at this time. All the big companys say they can make me some in a few weeks for around $1000.00. I need a set for 6.125 rod and a 4in stroke with a larger dish. Why are these so odd?

I can check in the morning and see if Diamond has any on the shelf. The reason most don't stock this bore is because that leaves very little meat in most iron blocks...
