LS7 oil pump require LS7 crank?

LS7 oil pump require LS7 crank? Am I correct in understanding that the LS7 dry sump pump REQUIRES the LS7 crank shaft (ie: pump can not be used on LS1 style crank)?
Ls7 crank Chris,
The snout is longer on the LS7 crankshaft to drive the extra pump section.
