How much does a LS1 longblock weigh?

Need to know for shipping quotes. No pan or intake...

Probably somewhere around 380lbs or less.

i would say around 225 at most 250

No way.

It's 390-400 complete, so probably around 375 minus the intake, coils, and efi BS.

Yeah i assembled my engine in the dining room. I brough it in as a longblock and it seemed MUCH heavier than 250lbs i could lift that. A 30' round aboveground pool wall is 371lbs, i would have put it on par with that for difficulty to manage it's weight.
