I'd be very interested in your results. Please send me a PM when you get the tune down and some numbers.

We port the 243s and have great results with them, we also like the TFS heads 215 - 235 depending on the application. They are great out of the box but there is room for improvements.

These heads have been on championship cars, so I am going with his heads/cam package, prob solid roller, and possibly setting up a vic jr intake as well. Just wanted to make a post and see if there were others I have not considered.
Good info. Thanks

RobZ has the C5 Z06 H/C record and has run 10.22 @ 133.5 with his TFS 215’s we did for him, hyd roller cam and pump gas. It looks like the others who are faster either have autos with 5000 stall and are 100 lbs lighter, or are have a M6 and are 100-400 lbs lighter.

A comparable flowing 243 casting will be larger than the TFS 215. Don't get caught up in high lift airflow, it just isn't that important. We've made 2hp/ cu in with heads that stalled at .600" and had .700" cams. The airflow at .300"-.500" is where the power is, even if your running .700" If you go .800" lift then start looking at the .400"-.600", if you go .900" lift then start looking at the .500"-.700"

BTW, all of the TFS/TEA CNC ported castings, including Vengeance heads, are all the same CNC program, the difference is in the details.

Just to clarify for you guys.... The TFS port was designed by Brian Tooley of TEA/TrickFlow.... We had nothing to do with the design of the TrickFlow head other than some preliminary testing. The TFS heads have proven to be one of the best heads on the market time and time again by MANY different shops AND individual customers. Im not saying they are the only choice, but they should definately be in the top 3.......

We've been extremely impressed with all the Trick Flow offerings for these LSx cars thusfar! In fact, I'll be ordering a set today to go on a customer's car - hoping for 500rwhp.

Brian and Mike over at TEA are definitely two of the most knowledgeable guys in this industry.
