Not really sure if this is the right section but I was curious if changing my spark plugs would be good or just un-nessisary. My H/C is in sig, heads are milled to 59cc and Im running approximatly 11.1 CR.
So would it be a good thing to do? Why and what type of plug would be best?

Grab a set of NGK TR6s and gap them about .038

 

Ryne put some TR55's in mine... they seem to be working great...

what are the benifits though?

 

.38 is the measurment of the gap between the spark plug electrode and the "prong" at the top of the spark plug... different setups require different gap sizes

most people keep theirs gapped around .50-.60.... mines gapped at .55 i believe...

General rule of thumb is when you add 100+ hp over stock, step down a heat range in plugs, i.e. TR6s

 

I have TR6's @.038 but I have N20 but I hardly use it.
