Default *question about ls1 cam*

Hey guys im gonna buy an ls1 cam and i just wanted to see if theres any way i can make sure that it really is an ls1 cam like if theres any serial numbers on it or anything that i can check so i can make sure that it is...well any help is greatly appreciated...thnx in advance..

Whats the number on the end of the cam? I guess you could mesure with a mesuring tape, count lobes and such but i dont really know how ot exactly tell.

there should be a grind number or a part number then just look it up

Is it a stock ls1 cam? If so I could go look at my old one in the garage. Also of that is the case why would you buy a stock cam?
