Head/Cam please help

Default Head/Cam please help

I have a m4 2000 z28 camaro and i want a head and cam package. I dont want a really aggressive cam and i really would prefer not to install a torque converter. Whaat is the best package i am looking at getting over 420 whp i have Long tube headers, true dual exhuast, intake manifold, thorttle body, and slp lid. Thanks for the help

why wouldnt u want to run a converter? it really wakes the car up

I dont know i drive it a decent amount and i dont know to much about them but arent they hard to drive with on the street

they make the car better(more fun) to drive on the street, it will be more responsive etc. I dont even notice mine anymore while driving around and above 35 or 40mph it will lock up and you will never know its there making freeway and highway driving nice and easy, just doing a stall with the mods you have now would wake the car up.

unless you just want dyno numbers I wouldn't do H/C if you don't plan to add a converter. you wont get the most out of the setup and it will leave you disappointed

you NEED a stall on an auto with h/c. I have a small cam in my A4 without a stall and the car's just begging for it. You'll feel a big difference, you can get something small like a yank SS3600, which is a good streetable stall. And if you get the stall you'll need an Aftermarket Trans cooler and a Trans-go shift kit.
