Would be great to get one if you don't have one. Do you have headers or exhaust yet? SFC's? What do you have is what I should say.

You should pick the cam AFTER the heads.

I would highly consider TEA Trickflow Heads for both superior quality and performance.

Spend some extra time in the dyno section prior to making your decision. I think you'll find a lot of good options that make really good proven power. We use Comp Cams camshafts which are made in America. While this adds a little bit of cost compared to some of the budget camshafts, it really adds to the adjustability & quality.

Why produce & sell the PRC line of cylinder heads. Do some searches on PRC heads & I think you'll find proven dyno results that easily outperform compareable priced cylinder heads & rival power gains from aftermarket casting heads. Don't take my word for it, run some basic searches in the dyno section.

Here's a PRC head & 228R camshaft idependent result:

This is a TSP 228R camshaft cut by Comp Cams. This entire combo is american made & available as a combo

Or The LS6 style heads combo sales for about 1650 complete with cam, heads, springs, and pushrods!!

here's some prc head info:

As most of you guys know we've been working really hard recently to rework all of our cylinder heads to improve power, performance, and value! The LS6 head is the newest cylinder head to go through these revisions. All future LS6 heads will ship with all the new features at NO EXTRA COST!!!

We just finished up the newest revision of the PRC LS6 cylinder head! The new cylinder head features a new smaller intake runner (225cc), new bigger cfm exhaust port, & aftermarket rocker arm clearances!!

The new intake port was reshaped to provide the same great airflow you've come to expect from PRC with a smaller runner for increased velocity & throttle response!

Here's a few pics of the new ls6 intake port. The port in this pic goes 310cfm @ .650 lift!!

The Exhaust Port was also completely revised from top to bottom! The all new exhaust port flows as much as 10cfm more air than the previous port with the same valve size!

NOTICE IN THIS PIC THE ALL NEW AFTERMARKET ROCKER CLEARANCES & CUSTOM PRC ENGRAVING!!

Higly advised for drivability and fun factor but a very few suffer and get by on stock TC. IMO stock TC with that cam =
