Default Serious problem, help please!

I just got done finishing up a cam install on the car in my sig and I just broke off the screwdriver that was holding the flywheel from moving. Once I got it wedged out of the flywheel it fell and it looks like it fell into the bellhousing because I can't find it on the floor. How fucked am I? I have no access to a lift, except maybe in school - but I can't afford a tow to my school either. I haven't even tried to start it yet (my girl has the keys ). do you guys think I could get in there with a pen magnet and possibly retrieve the piece? This has never happened before on any cam install I've done.

I would try a pen magnet. if that goes through the starter teeth on the fly wheel you'll be pulling the trans for sure. Do you have the starter out?

If I remember correctly there is a metal circle clip that can be removed on the drivers side. You can see the flywheel & converter from it. I'd assume you might be able to get to it that way also with a magnet.

Yup, sure is. I got it out thank GOD. I took the metal circle out and stuck a pen magnet in till I heard a tink. It was wedged in pretty good, but a prybar took care of that. I feel like such a moron for using such a small screwdriver to hold the flywheel . Oh well, thanks a lot for the responses!!
