Default advice on new forged engine

I have a new engine with forged internals and had a question. The engine has bout 2k on it and everything is quiet an runs strong and with a good tune. I have Dart pro 1 heads and 11 compresion. During a road trip I noticed a little blow by from the crankcase vent. Was wondering how much would be too much. No noticeable oil consumption. Thanks for any input.

My current and previous set-up smoked about like a cigarette burning during idle with the filler cap/breather off and pcv line closed off. Maybe half that actually. A little more than my stock bottom end smoked....that is until I lost the ringlands on #5 & 7. It was coming out like a fog machine then.

I have looked at some others and other engines have some. Was wondering if forged should be more or same as stock bottom end engines. Thanks

I have since put several miles on the car with no issues or oil consumption. Just was wondering bout if there was anything i should look for. It also has dart pro one heads which makes 11 compression. It has the original oil cap which i drilled and put a crankcase vent in so if any blow by u will see it all. It also has a victor jr. intake with a sheet metal top. Any input is appreciated. Thanks ahead.

Also the shop that built the motor was setting the car up for nitrous. Hasnt had nitrous but was set up for 150 to 200. Still breaking the motor in so no nitrous yet.

If it is setup for nitrous, then the rings are probably a little looser and the piston to wall clearance is probably a little larger than woudl be for an N/A motor. That in itself would be cause for a little more blowby than an N/A motor.

Thanks sir. Was unsure. I have had several old school engines set up loose for nitrous but this is my first at dealing with a ls1 with forged internals.
