Default car takes forever to return to idle

hey guys. I installed a cam in my car about a year ago and ever since then when you push in the clutch or put the car in nuetral, or even when you stop...it takes the car several seconds to return to idle. it's annoying as ****! i was just wondering if anyone had a similar problem/experience. is there any fix for this??

Post over in the PCM section. Throttle cracker or follower decay rate will usually fix this issue.

Just like DaddyDoubleS said, do a search for "cracker" (sounds racist) in the PCM section. Also search for "hanging idle". This could also be caused by an improperly adjusted TB set screw messing up your TPS values. Hope you have access to HP Tuners or Edit. Here's a link that'll get you started:
