low rpm ticking
low rpm ticking I think I have seen a thread describing what my car is doing before but I cant find it.
My car ticks at 2000-2500. It doesnt tick from idle to 1800 but when around 2000 it starts to tick pretty loudly and continues till about 2500. Once you get over 2500 it seems to go away.
I always have, and still have excellent oil pressure.
When I get around to doing another cam swap I will probably get new lifters.
Im wondering if it could be a bent pushrod. If it is it just doesnt make sense to only do it at that rpm range.
