Same thing happened to me. I was stupid enough to try to start my motor an hour later. I broke 2 rods in half and bent the 3rd which cracked my block. Looks like your gonna need a new short block. You should try and get it covered by your insurance.

Heres a blurry cell phone pic...the two holes are the in/oulet for the oil filter.... When the block blew, the bell housing split and so did the oil pan...
