Exclamation bent push rod?

okay so ive had this problem for a little over a month.. My exhuast has been poping like no other it would put a dumdumdumdum to shame.. when i floor it it pops and misses through the entire RPM range then when i let off it pops so loud and hard that you can feel it in the seat.. now i have home made 02 exstensions witch i thought was the problem for the terrible poping and missing but my friend just brought to my attention that i could have a bent push rod and set off my knock sensor.. now i wrote this really fast without my thought so any ideas? it is a 98 LS1 with 112K long tube headers no cats and no rear 02 sensors and no tune btw

is your motor throwing a code? could be not firing correctly... if you had a bent rod it should make a tapping of some sort.. you could have a bad maf or engine temp sensor... maybe even the timeing chain jumped a notch....

Its most likely a bent or broke pushrod. I broke one once and there was no noise at all.
