cause to me it wasnt what i expected. i expected alot more and the TV2 didnt have what i wanted. now the same combo i removed the TV2 and tossed in a Trex and that motor is what i expected.

thats just one mans opinion. go with what you feel is best for you. for me the Tv2 isnt for me

If you are on that tight of a budget, the 918 spring should be sufficent for the TQ2. However, you will probably want to pull a couple off once a year or so (depending on mileage/year) to check seat pressures. We have had numerous customers run that cam and spring combo with no problems. IMO, I would scratch the rod bolts and upgrade to the PRC Dual Springkit. There is no reason to be turning that cam over 6700-6800 RPM. I would set you limiter at 6800 and you will probably end up shifting the car at 6500 or so.

I run the 918 and have about 35,000 miles on them and have checked them regularly used to be a DD. Now looking at a new set up. the 918's are fine but with the dual valve spring kits you get a lot of other stuff I would replace on a higher mileage motor- ex. valve seals
