Default Loose oil pump?

Has anyone heard a LS engine running with a loose oil pump?
Just wondering, what it would sound like if someone was to forget to tighten the 4 bolts on an oil pump. I'm guessing that it would be held in place by the cover and oil pan, so it would function, (develop oil pressure), but what would it sound like?

Default

It's not going to build any pressure. The output of the pump would be exposed on the driver side of the block. The balancer would hold it in place too. Not sure if you would hear it. I had the bypass piston stuck open about .020" and I had no idle pressure until I revved the engine and then it made 10psi @ idle and 95 revved up.
