Default Need options... low compression block conversion??

In the process of purchasing an SS from a friend. The car had a D-1SC Procharger kit installed with a SLP ZL-402 Iron Block with stage 3 Patriot 6 liter heads. He sold the procharger kit and im looking to convert this to a high compression setup. Is it as simple as changing the heads and cam to pick up compression? I think the slp block comes with a nominal compression ratio of 9 to 1. Installing a setup of heads with smaller combustion chambers sounds like it would bring the compression back up but would it breath good enough through them?

What are the current specs on the motor?

- Dished pistons?
- Bore/stroke?
- Current combustion chamber size?
- Current cam specs?
- Current head gasket thickness and diameter?

Also, what kind of compression are you looking for? With this information, someone could tell you whether or not a head swap would be sufficient to reach your goals.
