I-beam vs. H-beam rods?

I-beam vs. H-beam rods? Ok...after my post about doing stock rods in my future engine, enough people made the "is it worth the risk" statment that I'm NOT going to risk it (especcially since I found out that Callies makes a 4" stroke crank for $1,500 that I could go with (427CI 
) and thus WOULD need to upgrade anyways (longer ratio rod)...
here is where I'm at...
I'm looking at doing 500-550rwhp MAX (all motor and or with a little spray) and 6500RPM MAX....
so with that in mind, I don't think I need some "super strong space age rod"....just something that will do the job...
1st) what is the difference (strenght/ussage wise) between I-beam and H-beam?
2nd) I found a number of rods, all 6.125" with floating pin:
A) Crower I-beam Sportsman Rod = $435
B) Eagle 4340 Forged H-Beam Rods = $479
C) Lunati Pro-Mod I-beam Rod = $700
D) Lunati Pro Billet Super Light I-beam Rod = $900
$900 is really the limit that I can see spending on rods for this engine (again...550rwhp and 6500RPM MAX)...
Which would be the "best" all things considered? Is there something that would do better that I missed? Remember this is a budget build up.

Re: I-beam vs. H-beam rods? I wonder if there is a difference between a H and an I?? I could kinda see how there could be, but does it matter? so do you think its looks like the letter looks? I have never heard of any problems with any after market rods.... So pick one that more people have.

I don't worry about $150...its still more than I have... I know Jegs has Eagle rods for about $600.....but I will be looking around to find the cheapest price before I buy....
(I just keep finding more and more ways to saving money on this project
....anyone know where I can get a resleeved block for less than $2000 from MTI

Many people had very good things to say about the Lunati Pro-Mod rods. Some ok reviews of others, but nothing got the "value" nod like the Pro-Mods.
I ended up myself going with Olivers super-duty stuff for far more money than I should have spent.

Re: I-beam vs. H-beam rods? Summit Racing sells the H-beam Eagles for less than $400. That is the 6.125" length rod. H-beam are better in that they spread the load over the entire bearing area.

Check out pages 150-151 in the Crower catalog.
For the weight they are pretty dam good rods. For classes with a 600g rod weight they are good parts. They are around 630-640g rods for a LS1, which is a bit lighter than the Eagle.
