I have an LSX GM block and have the LS2 valley cover. Is the LS1/LS6 cam sensor the same one or do I need a LS2 cam sensor?

Next question, I purchased the knock sensory wiring kit so the knock sensors can be hooked up in the front timing chain cover. The wiring kit comes with 2 connectors which I understand one connects to the LS1 knock sensor connector but what does the other one connect to? Also, it comes with 2 connects knock sensors. Are the 2 sensor dummy sensors? Thanks for your help!

 

The knock sensors are on the side of the block, the cam sensor on the ls2 is in the front timming chain cover. the ls2 valley cover has no sensors.
