Car shuts off after WOT run???
Car shuts off after WOT run??? I made a WOT run today after my cam install, and boy does she pull hard! 
The thing is, once I start braking from about 100mph, the car shuts off... Before the cam install, the serpentine belt would fly off when braking at those speeds, but now that I have the Larry pulley, the car just shuts off. That's a scary feeling when you're going over 100. It will stay on if I brake very lightly, but if I apply more pressure, the rpms just drop and my check gauges light comes on (car turns off). Has anyone ever had this happen to them? Any thoughts?

Re: Car shuts off after WOT run??? Was the car tuned? Sounds like it's dying from lack of oxygen, this happened on my car un tuned at 45mph, i would never take the car that fast without a proper tune, unless you know where your a/f is at.

Re: Car shuts off after WOT run??? No, my car hasn't been professionally tuned yet. I tuned the A/F at idle with my MAFT, but still need to adjust it at WOT. I guess that could be the problem...
