2 into 1 Hello guy's & gal's
Here's the deal I am trying to make an 04 LSI from a GTO make 450whp .
This is what i have it's an 02 5.3l seems to me this motor has a descent set of heads .
I also have a 78mm T/B that been ported
I have just acquired a set of LS6 243 heads
now the question is which heads shall I use and what cam intake & T/B would you recommend to achieve this HP goal

I believe, but not 100% sure, that the 5.3 heads will give you a little better compression, but "as cast" the 243's will flow a little better. If I were doing it, I would have the 243's ported and use them.

2 Into 1 Hey thanks I was thinking that but needed some reassurance . Hey any idea how good these LS1 heads will do on my 5.3l motor with a LS1 T/B is this an option that can work and make descent power on a little 5.3l .
