how would a small cam do in a big cubed ls how would a small cam lets say a gm asa cam 226/236 110lsa .525 lift do in a 427 ls engine, heads would be afrs or any other stage 3 for large bore engines, the reason im asking cause im getting ready to build my engine, and i hear alot of people with big cubes that get a real big *** cam and they dont make the power they thought they would, but then they try a smaller cam and they make more power, also im not looking to rev my engine to death, i care more about midrange power
If you do a small cam, do a good intake. G5X3 cam + LS6 intake = 408 that made peak torque below the 3600 stall rpm. And FYI that's a 234/242. I think with a FAST 92/92 it would've made better power.
