Default block swapability...

not counting re-sleeving an ls1 block

what are the engines that will take ALL THE ACCESSORIES from an ls1 engine (fbody)?

basically...bolt for bolt...sensor for sensor...ECM for ECM...swap out.

obviously you can swap out any bored/stroked ls1 derivative like the 382. and i'm pretty sure most of the 5.3s and 6L and their derivatives.

but if i wanted a higher cube ALUMINUM block...direct swap out...what are the options?

do the 402s, 408s, etc swap out without changing anything?

i thought most of those required some changing of sensors and small mechanical items.

yeah all of the big cubed engines are different, the LS2 I believe is the closest thing? Just needs a couple sensors, different heads and intake? I don't wanna give the wrong info but pretty much the only aluminum blocks that is bolt for bolt is the LS1 and LS6
