Help! Want Cam Suggestions HEY,
I'm looking at a comp cams cam swap for ls1. Anyone done it? I have every bolt on, intake and injectors, etc...not broken into engine yet but thinkin on comp cam, I also am interested in gains with this vs. cam and roller rockers? gains for each and both? what kind of roller rockers also?

Cam Swap X2 on LS1howto.com. I used it and was very helpful. Just read, read, read. If you research and study the project before you tear into it, you will have no trouble. Be sure you read up on balancer removal and install. Get the right tools and I advise doing an underdrive balancer since you are there.
I took my time and it went very well and it ran great from start-up on. No leaks, no troubles. You can get it done. Just don't rush.... Oh yeah, do an oil pump, too. Be open-minded when you research. I started out thinking I wanted a big MS4 for my car and after "learning" what I could, i went with a TR224 and love it. I would have been way over cammed with an MS4 for my application.

Definitely read JRP's Sticky about cams.
If you are willing to look at other companies that cut cams Isky has been cutting cams for over 50 years. I am running a special right now and you can spec out exactly what you want.
