Which oil weight for 383?

Which oil weight for 383? I broke it in for the first 1000 miles using Rotella T 15W-40. Then I switched to Royal Purple 10W-30 and have been using it for the last 22,000 miles with regular oil changes every 3000 miles or so.
I thought that being a stroker, 5-30 might be too thin and thought 10W-30 would be okay. The only problem is with the heat down here, once the oil gets hot it looses some pressure. With the engine kinda cool after about 5 minutes of idling it's about a mark, mark and half past 40 psi. When I've been riding around for a little bit, it gets to the mark below 40 psi at idle.
Should I stick with 10W-30 or move to one of these and why?

You've got 22,000 miles of experience showing that 10-30 is working well. A little below 40 at idle is fine, where is it at 4-5k RPM?
I would also take the time to check with a mechanical gauge through the RPM range if you really want to get get a good reading on pressure through the ranges, otherwise stick with your 10-30 as long as as it is not peaking too high.
