Default Most HP cam/heads combo for weekend warrior

I was advised this is a more cost effective approach to 400 plus HP than SC or Turbo. Which heads/cam will make the most and be streetable? What does the cost of each run and does anyone know how long putting them in with all the tools and a lift would take?

There are many different combos to choose from. There is no best way. Also what you consider not streetable, someone else may be fine with. Do some research and possibly go for a ride with people that have different combos. Be prepared to spend about 2k at minimum. Taking your time and having all the proper tools, it shouldnt take you more than a day or two.

Im making just shy of 400 with a mild set up. Check my fquick link in my sig.

I'd recommend geting stage 2.5 P&P 5.3 heads and a split duration 228/232 cam w/ all the supporting mods (intake, intake manifold, TB, headers, exhaust, etc). You should easily hit the 400+ rwhp mark and be very very streetable. Have fun with it man.
