Ok code says A312 and some symbol that might be a zero but is solid circle.
So is this built jan 31 2002. If it was a 2000 block would it just be A310?
I need to order head studs so at least know its not a 2004 or that would be like A314 correct.??

 

Engines produced BEFORE 1/1/2004 use the same head bolt kits. You will need 2 pn 12498545, about $25.00 each at list price.

 

Oh sorry ordering head studs for the build. The are a lot more money than the gm head bolts but such is life.
