wiseco pistons...
There is a thread with the two of them fighting it out...LOL both are good pistons, we preffer to use the Wiseco in most of our builds although we do offer Diamond as well.
We are also very competative with our pricing.

I used wiseco's in my last motor build ( but it was not a LS1 ) either way the quality was top notch and I was extremely satisfied. One thing to note, the wiseco's I used went into a Integra motor and honda uses offset wrist pins, Wiseco is the only manufacturer that I noticed that also used an offset wrist pin, that kinda pushed me toward them also... They have a huge following in the honda/import market and have never heard a single complaint about them while I heard miscellneous things about almost every other manufacturer, even the Diamond pistons of imports, CP, they are supposed to have the tightest quality control etc, but yet had multiple issues with pistons chipping at the valve reliefs etc... my vote is Wiseco

guys, thanks for the positive comments. We're developing mores new LS combinations for LS for 2009. Keep an eye around SEMA/PRI time for updates to the LS listings on our website. We're trying to fill in some holes in the compression ratio offerings. Also, we've made an update to the LS forgings as well that dial them in a bit closer to our LS multifit valvepockets--which will reduce weight a bit and keep the thickness more constant in the crown area. Not cheap to do, but the right thing. We'll be at the LSX shootout if you want to meet us in person. -Brian Nutter-Wiseco Piston
