headers, ory, gears.

It will run great, all of the time.

You can't really do a SAFE and reliable n20 setup for less than a grand, and you have to pay to play each time. I still want to do it, but I won't be half-assing my kit.

Bottle heater, fuel pressure cutoff switch, wot switch, window switch.. everything put together gets pretty pricey.

Whats done to the car now?

For starters open up the intake and exhaust tracts...IE. Cold air intake, Headers, Catback...

Then some rear end gears, like some 3.73s (Depending on your car you might have had 2.73s or 3.23s?)....

And like the others said, Nitrous, but a proper setup like the way FlashLCD33 has mentioned can add up.
Zex Nitrous has a pretty good kit that they offer.
