I have a 2000 ss A4, a bout six months ago my car would blow out a puff of smoke at WOT, since all this started, I have added headers and off road Y pipe, the car is much worse now, it even smokes a little at idel, and it blows out white smoke the whole time i have it on the floor, i have now power loss, and im not burning oil, what could this be. any info or opinions would be a great help.

I use Lucas Oil Stabilizer in my 1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse (The rainy day/work ride)... This car has the "big 4cyl of badness" (non-turbo model) and currently has 218000 miles on it. This car blows white smoke like a chimney, especially after idling for a while... BUT, Engine cranks 1st time, every time, and still gets 35 mpg (even on a 'bad' day). I use at least 1 quart Lucas to 3 quarts dino-oil and the car Loves it! The Lucas makes the engine real quiet, and cuts way down on the smoke and oil consumption... (Not the tire smoke, The smoke coming from the exhaust!)

I hate to hear that you have smoke coming from your SS, That has to be a bummer... I don't know for sure if the Lucas will help, but I don't see how it could hurt. It may buy you some time till you can really 'fix' the problem.
Good luck with it, I hope you get your smoke issues resolved...

P.S. Does driving an Eclipse make me a Ricer or do you have to start souping your Rice-Toy up first???

hook it up to auto-tap or ls1 edit, and see what your a/f ratio is . i bet its running way rich. mine did the same thing untill the computer learned itself again and leaned it out.
