Default Camshaft installation tool?

I am hoping that someone has one of the rods that can be installed to hold up the lifters when you pull out the cam. I need to know the diameter and length of the rods. I figured with all the knowledge here, someone must have made their own instead of paying $100 for them.

Any help would be great.

Thanks guys.

Thanks guys.

That is exactly what I was looking for. I couldn't believe it was necessary to spend the money on this.
