Default 98 LS1 Block

Ok, I cracked a rod bearing the other day. It cracked right down the middle. I have a 98 Z28, and I am wondering is I can bore this year block out any? I was told I can't, but I would like to find out for sure.....

Also, I want to know what ya'll think about the Eagle Forged Rods, if they would be worth putting in? Then, what type of piston would you go with? Thanks

Well, I cant afford JE Pistons or anything like that. So what kind of pistons and connecting rods would you use.....I just want a strong N/A motor
