Default Header and Y Pipe Questions

I just bought a 99 Z28 and the first thing i really want to do is get some headers and the y pipe so ive been looking at the tsp combo (lt headers and tsp y pipe)....i want to have it so it'll pass emissions and since i'm in the military i never know when i ll have to leave and sell the car. If i bought and installed the headers and non off road y pipe it shouldn't run any codes right? Should i get it tuned afterwards too? Is there any advantage to having an off road y pipe? I've been reading a bunch of stuff online and it just confuses me even more.

Default

It will throw rear O2 sensor codes, but they are easily turned off with a tune.

Offroad pipes are cheaper and louder because they do not have catalytic converters. If they test your car using the sniffer, you'll probably fail?
