If a stock LS1's compression ratio is 10:1, what will the compression be with 6.0L 317 casting heads? I know it will drop the compression, just wanted to know how much?

 

Get what size combustion chambers are in the new set of heads you got compared to what is on the engine right now...If you call a local shop and let them know what your compression is now with your current setup they can figuire it out for you...I am sure some people on here can do it as well...I do know that a stock 6.0 is 9-1....Stock 5.3 is 9.5-1...and the 5.7 as you said is 10-1...I think 6.0 heads are like 68 cc chambers rough guestimation I would say just a bit above 9-1...IMO
