Default Did i forget anything valvtrain and head question

I was planning on some budget heads for my camaro... i was going to get the patriot stage 2 ls6 heads. I was going to put some ls7 lifters in because i have some bad lifters. I also plan on putting some ls2 lifter trays in my car. Well anyways the question is will my stock length chromoly pushrods work with these heads (stock head gaskets). With the 59cc or 64cc chambers...Preferabley the 59cc chambers. Also can i use the bigger 2.055 valves on my stock bore. Also if there is anything else i forgot let me know.

with 59 cc heads it would put you to 10.9 to 1 compression. as for the 2.055 valve, you should stay down to like a 2.02. You will gain power on the top end, but loose alote on the bottom. Personly i would go 2.02 int 1.60 exh.

Which chamber size would you recomend and why? The 59s woudl be streetable on 93 correct. I think it would make the most power...

i would go with the 59cc. youd make the best power, plus people dont realize that the more compressin you have the better the fuel economy is. That is if you keep a block of wood under the peddle.

Sounds about right. I am unmilled 5.3's, OEM MLS .54 compressed gasket and 7.4's PR and LS7 lifters.

Obviously measure is the only way to be sure.
