My first LS1 build
My first LS1 build I am open to suggestions on what to build. I have a 03' LS1 with 243 head. I am looking for 400-450 HP with a Carb set-up. I wont be drag racing it, just cruising etc. Cam, intake, carb help would be great. BTW going with 700R tranny.
Your 03 ls1 has a ls6 intake so unless you want to drop 2k on the fast setup, the ls6 is your best bet. A 23x/23x 59x/59x 110-112lsa cam would make very good power. You could also send the 243 heads out to be ported too. Are you talking crank or rear wheel hp?

If you go with a "smaller" cam since your just going to drive it around. You will need more than a cam. Even a MS4, t-rex, etc would gain but what 40-45 rwhp Most likely going to have to get some good heads. The AFR heads are pretty nice.
