Default ms3 cam + blower

i know a bit about cam selection but am far from an expert. I was wondering why some many guys ditch their cams like the magic stick3 with large lifts and big duration for smaller ones when it comes to forced induction. I'm guessing with the low compression of blown engines that tuning and idle quality and drive ability are sacrificed quite abit and thats why. just curious because I want a turbo car but can really only afford to do heads and a cam until next summer. I just don't want to buy another cam. the setup that will be in my car shortly will be pat. ls6 heads with a ms3 cam along with full bolt ons until an iron block swap. I might just skip the turbo and go big in the cube dept. to 427 and add alittle spray. just always been curious cause my talon had some big cams with the turbo i put on. thanks guys

well generally the big NA cams will leak boost so people go to a cam designed for boost applications like something with a high lsa so you will not lose boost. There are also other factors too.

Like said above a lower lsa will bleed hard earned boost. Most will also get more lift/duration on the exhaust side. Don't need any help getting air in just, getting it out.
