LS3 Weight

Can anyone tell me approximately what an LS3 weighs in at ready to run?

I'm sorry if this has been covered before, I couldn't find anything with a search.

Don't know if this helps, but my new LS3 AND 4L65E tranny weighed 800lbs for shipping purposes.

Ready to run? LOL good luck with that.

The GMPP Catalog lists the weight of the LS3 crate engine at 415 pounds. Add what components you need for your particular build and you should be able to get fairly close.
