Need some input / info..LS2 swap I have a 69 Chevelle that I am doing an LS2 swap on. The engine is a crate engine (2005-2007 Corvette style). I also picked up a 4L60E tranny from a Camaro (1998-2000 model). A few questions I have are: Can I use the oil pan that is fitted for the vette on this swap or do I need to get another one? What year / model of GM car should I get the front accessories (A/C, PS, alternator) from? Do I have to cut / modify the frame? I would like to add cruise control to the car. The engine is set up with the "drive by wire" throttle body. I would like to keep it set up this way. What can I do to get cruise control to work for this application? Your suggestions are appreciated!! Thanks!!

I am working on a similar set-up. Apparantly if you use then DBW set up the cruise will be functional. However I do not know how you hookup a switch to run it. Check out paceperformance.com. They have some different harnesses listed. Hopefully someone else will add more to help us both.

i would post this in the conversions and hybrids section. i'm sure this swap has been done before and you might be able to find a thread on a LS2 chevelle conversion detailing how everything had to work. good luck.
