Default LS3 cam swap

I can't seem to find an answer to my question so I came on this forum in hope that someone can guide me the right way.

I've been looking at the new camaro and its LS3 and I have to say I'm very impressed with the amount of horsepower and torque you can get with bolt-ons. Of course, the first uprade that came to mind was the cam shaft.

Basically my question is, should i get the "hotcam" or the "ASA hotcam"?

Both give impressive numbers, while the hotcam seems to give better bottom end torque and the asa seem to give better top end torque.

Rarely will I bring the engine to 5000 rpm+ to take advantage of the ASA... But I've read that the "hotcam" was crap.

Any help will be appreciated.

Then don't bother with either. Your better off saving the money and just sticking with boltons if your never going to rev past 5.

Yeah its pointless to do a cam if youre not gonna rev past 5k.
Most aftermarket cams for these cars hit there sweet spot at 6k+.
Just stick with bolt ons.
